How do I remove the residual code from the app? (CTB)

If you installed the app before 2023, please follow the steps listed below to remove our app's code from your theme. If you installed the app after Jan 1 2023, the code is automatically removed when you uninstall the app.

The code inserted by the Countdown Timer Bar will not affect your website's performance, but if you'd like to remove it after uninstalling the app, please follow these instructions:

Instructions for Removal:

1. Go to the Online Store >> Themes section of your Shopify dashboard. Click on the Actions button next to your active theme and select Edit Code, as shown in the screenshot below.

You will need to delete the code from your theme.liquid file that's highlighted in the screen shot below.

You will also need to delete the hextom_ctb_main.liquid file that's located in the Snippets folder.
