To avoid having a conflict in your campaigns in the Ultimate Sales Boost app, it’s important to understand how campaign priority works.
The priority of campaigns depends on your targeting settings and targeting settings only. The app has four targeting settings, and each targeting setting gives the campaign a score:
- Product (+10)
- Customer (+100)
- Country (+1,000)
- Schedule (+10,000)
For example, you have a campaign targeting the US and some selected products. This campaign has a score 1,000 + 10 = 1,010.
For a product, only the campaign with the highest score shows. When multiple campaigns have the same score, the earlier one shows.
Most of the time, you can turn on the same widgets in the earlier campaign to achieve your goal.
Here's an example:
Campaign 1:
1 product targeted (baseball cards)
stock inventory number widget is turned on.
all countries targeted
Campaign 2:
all products targeted
trust badges turned on
3 countries targeted: France, Germany & Canada
Website visitors from France, Germany & Canada will not see the stock inventory number widget when they visit the baseball cards product as a result of the priority based system. They will see the trust badges. Anyone who is not from one of these 3 countries will see the stock inventory number when they visit this same product page but won't see the trust badges.
