Currency conversion through Shopify Markets requires Shopify payments to function. Our app Translate My Store (TMS) offers an alternative method of adding new currencies to your store that avoids this limitation.

You will first need navigate to the "Regions and Currency" page in our app. Then, you can follow the instructions to set up your store currency settings to support this new feature as shown on that page here:
You can add new regions/currencies from the dropdown shown below. Please note that regions already added with Shopify markets will not be available until you remove them from your Shopify market settings.
You can edit your currency settings to control the price rounding, currency conversion rate, and currency display format.
Due to a Shopify limitation that is implemented for security and legal reasons, the currency conversion through this feature is not available on the checkout page. We include an optional message on the cart page to warn your customers about this, so they are not surprised when they get to the checkout. This message only displays when a currency managed through this feature is in use.
