Enable SMS & Push Marketing in Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes (SPM)

Shopify has announced one of their biggest updates, Online store theme 2.0. With online store 2.0 themes, you can easily enable the "SPM Core Snippet" from SMS & Push Marketing App using app blocks.

The "SPM Core Snippet" is used to collect web push and SMS subscribers, display web push and SMS marketing messages. This should always be enabled.

Here are the steps to enable it.

1. Go to Shopify store admin >> Click "Themes" under "Online Store" >> click "Customize" button

2. Click "App embeds" button at the left panel >> enable the "SPM Core Snippet" >> click "Save" button at the top right corner

All set, the SPM Core Snippet is enabled, and the App can collect web push and SMS subscribers, display web push and SMS marketing messages for your store.
