How do I remove the residual code of language selector from my theme? (TMS)

Our app will only insert code into your theme if you use the Language Selector from our App.  If you disable the Language Selector before uninstalling the app, the code will automatically be removed from your theme.

However, if you did not disable the Language Selector before uninstalling the app, there might be residual code from our App. You can follow these steps to remove them from your theme. We strongly recommend duplicating your theme before making any edits.

Instructions for Removal:

1. Go to the Online Store >> Themes section of your Shopify dashboard. Click on the Actions button next to your active theme and select Edit Code, as shown in the screenshot below.

If you used the float option, which looks like this in the app:

You will need to delete the tms-translator.js file and tms.js file liquid file that's located in the Snippets folder and you will also need to delete the code from your theme.liquid file that's highlighted in the screen shot below.

If you inserted the language selector in your header, which looks like this in the app:

You will need to delete the tms.js file and the tms-translator.js file that's located in the Assets folder and you will also need to delete the code from your theme.liquid file that's highlighted in the screen shot below.
